ALMOND 

With its fragile and minimalistic piano solo melody, the two minute piece „Almond“ is the the first of six new musical fragments commencing the second colour cycle of German based synesthetic composer KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLOURS. ALMOND not just stands for the almond coloured scale it was written on, but also for the first element - Mother Earth. 

PORCELAIN

With a repetitive build structure woven into the sound of water of lake Stechlin, the clearest sea of northern Germany,  the multi-instrumental piece PORCELAIN is the second of seven new musical fragments continuing the second of three colour cycles of German based synesthetic composer Kaleidoscope of Colours. PORCELAIN not just stands for the porcelain blue coloured scale it was written on, but also for the second element of the cycle - Glaciers & Ice. 



Scarlet

With a fragile, gentle melody interwoven into a neo-impressionistic frame, Scarlet is the 4. single release of Berlin based, synesthetic composer Kaleidoscope of Colours It gives the audience a final taste of her upcoming album Music & Colours, a collection of musical fragments, that are based on colour composing. And as you would imagined to look at an impressionist painting, the tune reveals small touches of colours, completing the pieces' broader colour nature - this time the fierce and firing colour of scarlet. 


Yellow

Not just since Miles Davis’ release of “Aura” in 1985, the phenomenon of „Synesthesia“ - the joined senses -  has been known among artists from all over the world.  After „Shades of Brown“ and „Midnight Blue“, „Yellow“ is the 3. single release of Berlin based, synesthetic composer Kaleidoscope of Colours. As part of her upcoming album „Music & Colours“, the piece represents a fragile melody wrapped into the warm base lines of contemporary piano sounds, while taking the listener on a refreshing journey through the leaves of the fall. It is a further move to make the world of sound visible by combining colours with melodies influenced by some of todays' greatest post minimalist composers.


MIDNIGHT BLUE

„Midnight Blue“ is the second of ten evocative fragments that are based on the ground breaking new composing technique of synesthethic colour composing. As part of the album „Music & Colours“, Berlin based composer Kaleidoscope of Colours took a new approach and recomposed Claude Debussy’s impressionistic piece Clair de Lune.  Created as part of her midnight blue colour scale, Midnight Blue represents a blend of neo-classic and electronic sounds that give the famous tune a unique shape, as you have never heard before. 


SHADES OF BROWN

With an intimate and mesmerizing sound shaped into polyrhythmic pattern, “Shades of Brown” is the first of ten evocative musical fragments that are based on a ground breaking new composing technique: synesthetic colour composing. As part of the album “Music & Colours”, it´s a first move of Berlin based composer Kaleidoscope of Colours, to make the world of sound visible by combining colours with melodies influenced by some of todays' greatest post minimalist composers.
